MEET NICOLE – MAJOR LEAGUE NUTRITION
Nicole Chenard, winner of the Massachusetts Emerging Dietetic Leader of the Year 2020 award from the Massachusetts Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in Massachusetts & Florida with an extensive health and wellness coaching background.
Nicole is passionate about eating well, training well, resting well and and finding balance in it all. She works with her clients where they are right now. Her philosophy revolves around finding the right balance in diet, exercise and stress. She helps her clients realize what motivates them to take steps to their optimum health status. Nutrition can have a beneficial or detrimental impact on athletic performance and overall health and well-being.
Her approach is based on facts (not fads) and information gained from her own experiences, peer-reviewed journals, counseling thousands of patients, collaboration with colleagues and continuing education. She is an active athlete, former competitive college athlete and successful Boston Marathon finisher. Her medical training with the MGH Sports Medicine Team and Boston Marathon Medical team puts her ahead of the game.
Nicole founded her private practice, Major League Nutrition, several years ago. She’s worked with thousands of clients helping them to achieve their nutrition and fitness goals with evidence-based, credible knowledge. She has experience consulting high school, collegiate, professional athletes, and Tier 1 military as well as teaching Performance Nutrition as an adjunct professor at the college level. She also has extensive background in building wellness programs for corporations and non-profits.

Nicole has trained one-on-one and taught group exercise classes at Boston Sports Clubs and Gold’s Gym. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Simmons College and a master’s degree in Nutrition & Fitness from Northeastern University.
Nicole spent a year as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Service to America bringing health education to the underserved region of the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, one of the most obese populations of the United States.
Nicole has worked on research teams at Tufts University, Boston Children’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and has created and implemented nutrition education programs as a part of a medical team for The Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Home Base Program. She has also volunteered on the Boston Marathon course for several years with the medical teams.
