To celebrate the opening of citizenM Boston

Nicole Chenard, an expert in her field who helps keep Boston “running” was chosen as a model for the campaign. She was interviewed and chosen due to her Boston Marathon medical volunteer work since 2013.

In 2016, she successfully became a Boston Marathon finisher. An emerging sports nutrition leader, she has been helping runners and distance athletes complete their race, game and wellness goals.

Her award-winning method includes:

  1. Discussing individualized nutrition strategies based off of her clients’ estimated energy needs.
  2. She includes activity factors, lifestyle factors, and food preferences.
  3. Each specific type of event, weather, elevation and health requirements differ for each athlete and need to be considered as a part of their plan.
  4. The plan is a collaboration with the client. She doesn’t recommend doing anything that won’t make sense for the client.
  5. After the event, there is a recap meeting discussing challenges and victories, strategies worth repeating, and what to plan to get ready for the next goal.
Client Successes!
